As a Project Manager at BOS Innovations, you will lead the end-to-end execution of automation projects from purchase order through to final delivery. You will act as the primary point of contact for the customer, owning the project relationship and ensuring successful delivery aligned to schedule, budget, and quality expectations. This role requires strong commercial and operational leadership, with a focus on coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project risks, and driving outcomes through influence and engagement. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction and protecting project profitability.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engage with the business and the customer just prior to deal close to develop relationship and set up project plan for the new projects.
- Follow the BOS kickoff process led by sales with ownership transfer to PM.
- Create the project schedule for each job using the correct standard BOS template in MS Project illustrating BOS and Customer milestones.
- Create the budget module within the BOS ERP with department input: line creation, budget finalization, and checklist creation.
- Facilitate kick off meeting procedures.
- Maintain project information organization.
- Facilitate project update meetings and whiteboards.
- Manage, and elevate project risks to Sr Management.
- Monitor and report the project team progress through our process – the BOS Project Playbook.
- Manage the commercial relationship with the customer during the active project including signoffs, milestone payments, engineering changes, risk management, information requests, etc.
- Facilitate internal and customer design reviews, site reviews, customer visits, and any other commercial interactions.
- Ensure that the project is delivered on time, quality, and budget.
- Responsible for effective commercial execution of projects through oversight of the assigned project management group.
- Inform the customer of technical, timing, or commercial miss and facilitate the development of contingency and/or recovery planning as needed.
- Support the BOS project team with all customer information and provided items.
- Follow ECN process to provide Engineering Change Quotes when applicable.
- Manage the customer product planning and tracking system and coordinate with all stakeholders.
- Analyze projects to identify out of scope work or other out of scope customer requests and strategically address these with the Sales Department.
- Proposal Management and Coordination.
- Analyze and interpret RFP or business opportunity requirements, reviewing scope, evaluation criteria, and client instructions.
- Develop a comprehensive proposal plan, outlining strategy, timeline, and resource allocation, while coordinating with various departments and stakeholders.
- Lead a cross functional team, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities, and maintain consistency in proposal messaging.
- Collaborate with the team to gather relevant information, address client requirements, and highlight organizational strengths.
- Write up the proposal, specify each team member’s responsibility in the document and reach out to Business Development/Account Managers as needed.
- Conduct presentations to the customer and participate in commercial negotiations as required.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project management within industrial automation, or manufacturing.
- PMP certification is considered an asset.
- Proven experience managing projects end-to-end, including customer communication, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage scope, change orders, and project profitability.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams (mechanical, controls, and manufacturing).
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and ERP systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Experience supporting or leading proposal development and participating in customer presentations is an asset.
