As a Manufacturing Laborer at BOS Innovations, you will support the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing shop by assisting skilled tradespeople and helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment. This role is hands-on and varied, involving general shop support, facility maintenance, and assisting with basic assembly and material movement. You will play an important role in keeping the shop running efficiently by supporting equipment upkeep, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and helping with tasks such as vehicle maintenance, material handling, and general facility upkeep. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in contributing to smooth shop operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Fulfill all facilities service requests working with the Office Coordinator.
  • Monitor fleet appearance and maintain cleanliness.
  • Inspect vehicles weekly, cleaning all vehicles monthly.
  • Track vehicle maintenance schedules and arrange oil changes/service as necessary.
  • Inspect shop daily; monitor shop cleanliness, identify potential safety hazards due to untidiness, advise supervisor and clean up accordingly.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety procedures; inform management on unsafe practices.
  • Maintain garbage and recycling program and prepare for weekly disposal.
  • Inspect air handlers and clean filters every week.
  • Maintain entrances with snow removal as necessary.
  • Building and Grounds maintenance.
  • Check water softener weekly.
  • Complete a variety of tasks including but not limited to painting, general facility maintenance, assisting with assembly of automated machines, using the forklift to move parts, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
