With strong demand across the UK we are expanding our finance team and looking for a commercially focused Management Accountant to support our next phase of growth.

The Role

This is a key role within the business, responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and providing insight to support decision-making across operations. You’ll work closely with senior leadership and operational teams, helping to track performance across installation projects and improve overall profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
  • Budgeting and forecasting across multiple business areas
  • Project and job costing analysis (Boiler installs, Solar PV projects)
  • Monitoring margins, costs, and performance KPIs
  • Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Supporting year-end accounts and audit processes
  • Improving financial processes and reporting systems

Essential Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant
  • Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance teams
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Qualified to ACA or ACCA

Desirable:

  • Experience in construction, renewables, engineering, or installation-led environments
  • Knowledge of project accounting / job costing
