Asset Integrity Compliance Supervisor

The Asset Integrity Compliance Supervisor is responsible for providing independent verification and assurance of rig asset integrity, maintenance execution, and technical compliance in accordance with the Borr Management System and Trust & Verify (T&V) framework. The role focuses on verifying the effectiveness of maintenance systems, asset condition (including actual status vs reported status), and technical barriers rather than executing day‑to‑day maintenance activities. Acting as a subject matter expert in rig maintenance and asset integrity, the position supports the T&V program by assessing compliance with maintenance requirements, identifying systemic gaps, and driving sustainable improvement across the fleet. The role shall work closely with Offshore Installation Managers (OIMs), Rig Maintenance Supervisors (RMS), and onshore technical teams to ensure maintenance and asset integrity standards are being applied consistently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Trust & Verify audits and compliance assessments focused on asset integrity and maintenance execution and reporting.
• Verify the effectiveness of maintenance systems, including preventive maintenance execution, reporting and defect management.
• Assess compliance with asset integrity requirements including:
• Energy isolation and inhibits/overrides.
• Dropped object controls.
• Hull, structure, and critical equipment condition.
• Safety Case technical barriers and verification activities.
• Review maintenance backlogs, PM compliance, and deferred maintenance (including the use and management of the NCR (non-conformance reporting) process) to identify risks, trends and systemic issues.
• Evaluate asset condition through field observations, sampling of work execution, and review of inspection data and third party inspection reports such as NDT, thickness measurements, vibration analysis, and oil sampling.
• Verify compliance with classification society, flag state, statutory, and client technical requirements.
• Review rig technical documentation including certificates, equipment registers, manuals, drawings, and CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) data quality.
• Confirm compliance to procedure of Engineering and Operational Management of Change (MOC) processes related to rig modifications and technical risk, including documentation updates.
• Prepare clear, factual audit reports identifying non‑conformities, observations, and opportunities for improvement.
• Engage with rig management and maintenance crews during audits to explain findings, expectations, and required corrective actions.
• Engage with maintenance crews to share best practices and lessons learned from around the fleet.
• Support close‑out and verification of CAPAs arising from T&V audits within assigned scope.
• Identify recurring themes, cross‑fleet risks, and improvement opportunities and feed these into T&V trending and continuous improvement initiatives, liaising with the Corporate Technical team as applicable.
• Provide constructive challenge to accepted practices where asset integrity or maintenance effectiveness is at risk.
• Act as a technical interface between offshore operations and Corporate Technical / QHSE departments as required during audits.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must complete and maintain 100% compliance with Mandatory Training requirements.
• Must progress, complete, and maintain competence assessment in accordance with assigned competence package.
• Previous experience in the role of Rig Maintenance Supervisor or equivalent senior maintenance position.
• Demonstrated experience with asset integrity management on MODUs.
• Strong understanding of CMMS systems and maintenance assurance processes.
• Experience supporting or leading technical audits, inspections, or verification activities preferred.
• Knowledge of classification society, flag state, and statutory technical requirements is preferred.
• Incident investigation and root cause analysis experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Computer literate with experience reviewing maintenance and integrity data.
• Willingness and ability to travel globally and work offshore.
