Role Summary
Responsible for supporting the compensation and benefits team with the administration, communication design, implementation and governance of compensation and benefits, whilst also providing support of strategic business objectives in the Compensation and Benefits area.
Responsibilities
- Support the Compensation and Benefits Manager with the organisation's Compensation strategy to align with business objectives.
- Lead the participation of annual remuneration surveys collating data in preparation of submissions.
- Analysis of external market data surveys and benchmarking against internal compensation rates and provide statistical reporting to senior HR. Provide initial recommendations on offshore rates and onshore bandings in line with the Companies strategic objectives.
- Responsible for the administration of employee benefits completing monthly checks ensuring employees have appropriate cover.
- Provide support with market total compensation analysis contributing to recommendations for salary structures and benefits.
- Conduct job evaluations of new and updated job descriptions utilising the company’s Job Evaluation scheme.
- Preparation of Onshore bandings annually for approval as per the Company’s approval matrix.
- Maintenance of onshore bandings (grade and grade profile) within the HRIS.
- Initiate the renewal process for all employee benefits by providing census data and preparing summary cost analysis to support informed decision making, ensuring timely benefit renewal.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the personnel manning costing templates which support the regional HR teams in tender costing.
- Support the region in the application process of income protection and life assurance claims that may arise.
- Verification of medical and benefit invoices received by the Compensation and Benefits Team and ensure they are correct before sent for payment.
- Collate and report Offer Determinations, providing insights on global and regional compensation trends to HR Management.
- Support the Compensation and Benefits Coordinator in the collation of monthly bonus accruals as directed by the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
- Support the business providing advice/recommendations with regards to compensation and benefits for potential new countries of operation.
- Support in the administration of leavers for the company’s LTIP.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures and local labour laws regarding benefits and compensation.
- Perform other duties, complete additional tasks and support ad hoc projects as required as directed by the Compensation and Benefits Manager.
- Take personal responsibility for own continued professional development and undertake any training as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Working towards (or achieved) CIPD qualification or local equivalent.
- Previous experience in an HR professional role, with previous experience in compensation and benefits preferred.
- Highly organised and responsive, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a complex, challenging environment.
- Ability to work as a team and individually, uses own initiative to identify and prioritise.
- The role also requires that a high level of confidentiality be maintained.
- HRIS experience, in particular Workday.
- Excellent Excel skills.
- Microsoft Office.
