The Role
The Family Group Conference (FGC) Worker will deliver and support the Family Group Conference approach within the Family Help Service. Responsibilities include:
- Delivering and moderating Family Group Conference sessions with children and families, ensuring meetings are organised in the best interests of children.
- Supporting the embedding of a wider Family Network approach.
This role requires evening and weekend work to meet the needs of the service.
About You
- Passionate and experienced worker with an understanding of working with children and families.
- Experience of Family Group Decision‑Making, Family Group Conference and Family Network approaches in practice.
- Experience utilising restorative approaches with families and integrated working with Children’s Services.
- Team player who uses initiative and embraces creative, strengths‑based approaches.
