About the role: Full time permanent role within Provisions and Integrations Team in Waltham Forest SEND to support Short Breaks and Assistance with Travel services (Home to School Transport). The role supports the delivery of resource allocation and financial transactions that enable stakeholders and customers to engage with and make informed use of the services. Managing and maintaining relationships with service users and their families for assistance with travel and Short Breaks provision delivered through the Integrated Disability Service.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional who will help us deliver excellent services to our children and their families as well as provide support to colleagues and peers within the Local Authority.
Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain and develop all client relationship-based functions for the effective administration of care packages in the SEND Service.
- To manage and maintain the day-to-day administration for the effective delivery of care packages / specialist services.
- Deliver the services and standards required of the team.
- Contribute to service / business / communications plans within area of responsibility.
- Support projects and services within specialist field or contribute to larger programmes effectively engaging with stakeholders as required.
- Contribute to deliver effective budget and resource management for the area of responsibility, including processing payments and financial transactions using council frameworks and procedure.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Numeracy and literacy qualification e.g GCSE English / Maths or equivalent.
- ICT proficiency, knowledge of working with Microsoft 365, advanced Excel skills.
