About the role: The Estate Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day management of Estate Caretakers, ensuring estates are clean, safe, and well maintained. They allocate workloads, carry out inspections, monitor performance, and provide coaching and support. The supervisor ensures compliance with health and safety requirements, manages attendance and wellbeing, responds to resident concerns, and works closely with Housing and Property teams. Their role is key to delivering high service standards, resident satisfaction, and continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, support, and motivate Estate Caretakers, ensuring high standards of performance, conduct, and customer service.
  • Plan and allocate daily work schedules, ensuring resources are deployed effectively to meet service priorities.
  • Carry out routine estate inspections, monitor service quality, and address any identified issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, risk assessments, safe working practices, and company policies.
  • Manage attendance, wellbeing, performance, training, and development of team members through regular supervision and coaching.
  • Investigate and respond to resident enquiries, complaints, and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Monitor productivity and performance targets, implementing improvement plans where required.
  • Work closely with Place Management, Property Services, Compliance, and Resident Engagement teams to deliver excellent estate services.
  • Maintain accurate records, inspections, audits, and performance reports.
  • Support recruitment, induction, succession planning, and workforce development initiatives.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics.
  • Relevant supervisory or team leadership qualification desirable.
  • Full UK driving licence desirable.
