We have a vacancy for a Telecare Officer who will work on a shift across 24 hrs/365 days a year to ensure the safety of people living in their own homes in the Lewisham borough. You will take calls through a digital alarm receiving service and respond as required to ensure people are prevented from harm. The role is varied and exciting with no two days being the same.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working within adult social care in supporting vulnerable adults. You will be a team player who is happy to work with colleagues to ensure people are responded to without delay and with care and patience. You will have knowledge of using technologies and an aptitude for using a range of digital systems.
The job is based in Linkline Telecare Service, 1st Floor, Roseview, 122 Marsala Road, Ladywell, London, SE13 7AF. Please note these posts do not support working from home.
Special conditions:
- The shift pattern normally comprises of 3 x 12 hour shifts per week which includes night and day
- Weekend working and Bank Holidays
- The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check
- You will need to drive a leased car
