This role will be supporting the Youth Futures Foundation funded ‘Connected Futures’ programme, locally known as ‘Elevate 100’. Elevate 100 is a youth-led employability programme, with a board of young people (youth action board) overseeing project decisions.

The role of the Youth Governance Apprentice will be to act as a full-time youth board member, ensuring that the voices of local young people, including our youth action board, is represented throughout the project.

What we’re looking for

You should be passionate about supporting young people in Lewisham borough and want to make a meaningful difference by championing youth empowerment. You will have an eye for detail, ensuring accuracy, quality, and consistency in your work. We are looking for an apprentice who also has an interest in and understanding of social media.

Location

The job is primarily based in Elevate 100 in Downham but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

  • You will complete an apprenticeship
  • Some weekend and evening working is required for this apprenticeship
  • The job is subject to an enhanced DBS check
