We're looking for a Web Content Officer to join us on a 12-month fixed-term project that will directly improve how residents interact with the Council online. Working closely with our ICT and Communications teams, you'll help develop a new Contact Us experience for our website, analyse resident enquiries to identify pain points, improve web content and create a knowledge base of the most common questions residents ask. Your work will help make our services easier to access and understand.

We're seeking someone who is curious, organised and passionate about improving digital experiences. You'll enjoy working with people, listening to feedback and identifying opportunities to make things better. You'll be comfortable writing and editing content, analysing patterns in resident enquiries and collaborating with colleagues across different services. Most importantly, you'll be motivated by helping residents find the information and support they need quickly and easily.
The job is primarily based in our offices in Catford, London, SE6 4RU but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work in the office at least two days per week, and from home on a regular basis.
Educated to degree level or equivalent, with evidence of continuous professional development. Occasional evening working may be required to meet service needs.
