What's the role?

Planning and delivering digital content that considers best user journeys, you will work with colleagues from a wide range of services to review, optimise and improve areas on the website to improve the user journey and support the Council's aims and objectives. You will support the development and roll‐out of our new digital content strategy, with a focus on our website and intranet.

What we're looking for

You will have an eye for accuracy and can ensure quality and consistency of published digital content within the Council's content management system. You will be keen to get involved in content creation, including directing messaging, editorial and tone of voice. Liaising and supporting service‐based content editors to ensure webpages are accurate, kept up to date and serve our residents well, will be what you excel at, as well as having great people skills and experience of supporting and working alongside a diverse range of people.

Location

The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

Special conditions

  • A good standard of education, including excellent levels of numeracy and literacy is needed
  • Weekend working is required for this job
  • The job is subject to a Basic DBS check
