Are you a problem solver? Do you have experience coming up with innovative solutions to improving housing services? Are you someone that can collaborate with teams to deliver better services for residents?

Join us to lead service improvement and change projects across the Housing Directorate to support Lewisham to deliver better services for residents. You will be working collaboratively and at pace with teams to find solutions for some of the Council’s most tricky and complex problems, whether that be in our repairs, homelessness or resident engagement services.

You will be a problem solver who can find solutions to tricky issues that often cut across multiple teams. You will use knowledge of service design and project management methodology to put residents first and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to improve how we are delivering services.

You will have confidence tackling different issues and will use strong analytical skills to communicate issues and potential solutions to senior leadership. You will provide strategic leadership and direction to secure commitment to change by engaging different audiences.

The job is primarily based in our Lawrence House office in Catford, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis. We expect any applicants to be willing to be in the office at least 2 days a week.

Project management qualification or equivalent experience is required.
