You’ll provide high-level administrative, policy and communications support to the Group Leader and Green Group. This includes coordinating meetings, drafting briefings and reports, and supporting decision-making processes. You’ll act as a key link between Members, officers and external partners. The role involves working on sensitive and complex issues in a dynamic political environment.

You will be an organised and proactive individual, able to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. You will have strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, high-quality materials. You will be experienced in supporting senior stakeholders and handling confidential matters with discretion. You will be confident operating in a political or complex stakeholder environment. You will be able to work independently, think critically and provide sound advice. You will take a collaborative approach, building effective relationships across a wide network.
The job is primarily based in Lewisham Civic Suite, Catford Road, Catford, London, SE6 4RU, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.
