We are seeking to recruit an individual with experience in creating and maintaining accurate financial datasets, managing competing priorities, and working effectively within a fast-paced finance environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial transactions, processing high volume of invoices and using payment systems such as ContrOCC and Oracle. The successful candidate will demonstrate a good understanding of effective financial management, knowledge of budgetary controls and the ability to interpret and present statistical information. Excellent excel skills are essential, as this is a key function to this role.
An exciting opportunity to join our Accommodation Accounts and Payments Team in the Housing Service. The role will be responsible for preparing and managing the monthly landlord rent payments schedule for all private sector leased properties for sign off each month, processing all payments to nightly paid providers, landlords and providing a professional service to all clients and colleagues. You will be responsible for keeping accurate records on all payments made and undertake payment related calculations including overpayments, handback payments, rent suspensions, claw backs and handling council tax payments and associated queries.

You will have strong numerical skills, be confident in working with financial data and spreadsheets are essential. You will also be highly organised, able to work methodically with accuracy and attention to detail are key.
The job is primarily based in Laurence House, Catford, London, SE6 4RU but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis. Your office day will be a Monday plus an additional day in the week as agreed and required by the service.
The role is permanent Hybrid working: 2 days in the office (Monday is Mandatory office day).
