We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, efficient and reliable cleaner to join our busy school cleaning staff. You will be part of a team responsible for cleaning the school and providing an environment that encourages effective working and learning. This will involve general cleaning, including sweeping, vacuuming, polishing and dusting throughout the school (in classrooms, main entrance, toilets, washrooms and corridors, etc).
You will have previous experience of cleaning, ideally in schools, including toilets, together with an awareness of health and safety principles in an education setting. We are looking for people with a flexible and proactive approach to work and you should enjoy working within a team.
The closing date for applications is Sunday 17th May at 11.59pm. Interviews will be held the following week. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 3.30pm to 6pm, (12.5hrs per week/39 weeks a year). The position is on Scale 1 £28,881 annually, pro rata (approximately £7,735.98).
