Salary: SCALE 4: £31,980 per annum, rising to £33,384 per annum (incl. Living Wage).

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to support the needs and development of children and young people at risk of offending, family breakdown, homelessness, sexual and criminal exploitation. The aim is to provide support at the point when problems emerge, preventing the need for more specialist services further down the line.

Responsibilities

  • Provide targeted support and interventions for children and young people in the Engagement Service.
  • Work collaboratively with the Youth Justice and Contextual Safeguarding Services to deliver integrated responses.
  • Prevent further risks and vulnerabilities by intervening early in communities.
