About the Team:

The Early Years Quality Improvement Team at Lambeth provides high quality support, advice, coaching and training to Childminders, Early Years Group Settings and Out of School Providers who are registered with Ofsted. The team works within a locality-based model and gives high priority to ensuring that early years providers are kept up to date about National and Local initiatives and meet the EYFS Statutory Requirements to a high standard.

About the Role:

The candidate will be expected to provide a targeted programme of support, advice and training for providers who are preparing for registration, newly registered with Ofsted or due inspection. The candidate will also be involved in delivering intensive support to providers with an Ofsted grading which is below the “Expected Standard”. The officer will also provide support to help providers to meet the safeguarding and welfare requirements when issues relating to compliance arise.
