About the Team: We are reshaping how a whole system works for children and families. Our Families First Partnership Programme team sits at the heart of local transformation, bringing together social care, education, health, and community partners to deliver earlier help, stronger relationships, and better outcomes for children.

This is complex, high-impact work. It requires curiosity, credibility, and the confidence to challenge and rethink how things have always been done. About the Role: You are a Data Analyst who understands that insight drives change. You have worked with data in a local authority or public service context and are confident navigating complex datasets across children’s services, education, health, and partners. You understand performance, demand, and what sits behind the numbers.

You will bring:

  • Strong analytical capability, with experience handling multi-agency or public sector datasets
  • Confidence using tools such as Excel, Power BI, SQL (or similar) to analyse and present data
  • Experience producing dashboards and insight that inform operational and strategic decisions
  • Ability to interrogate data and translate insight clearly for frontline teams to senior leaders
  • Focus on impact, linking data to outcomes for children and families

You will play a key role in helping us understand whether Families First is working locally and where we need to shift, adapt, and improve.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce monthly dashboards and statutory/corporate returns
  • Build analytical models to spot trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Improve data quality and definitions across systems
  • Translate complex analysis into practical, accessible insights
