About the Team
Lambeth Educational Psychology Service (EPS) is inviting applications from highly motivated and reflective psychology graduates to join our hard-working, friendly and supportive team as we develop our Experts at Hand model, outlined in the government’s White Paper ‘Every Child Achieving and Thriving’.
About the Role
We offer generous support for professional development and career progression. The AEP post is designed to assist in the delivery of the borough’s Experts at Hand model. We therefore welcome applicants who relish the opportunity to facilitate professional development for school staff and work alongside them to support the implementation of inclusive practice. The ultimate aim is to promote the best outcomes for the children and young people of Lambeth. The AEP post is an ideal opportunity for those who are intending to or have aspirations to apply for an approved course of post-graduate training leading to a doctorate level qualification in the professional practice of educational psychology, or wish to contribute to psychological and systemic practice in Lambeth schools.
In addition to working closely with EPs and receiving psychological supervision from a senior EP, AEPs will be working alongside our Area SENCOs, our Autism Advisory Service, SEMH Outreach, Early Years Team and Mental Health Support Team. Relational practices is at the heart of all we do. We welcome and value the diverse range of knowledge, skills, experience and expertise that new colleagues can contribute to our practice and team development. As a key part of this role is working alongside staff, candidates will need to be willing to travel to and between schools and settings.
