Advanced Practitioner - Salary - Grade 9- Β£56,058 - Β£60,393pa
The successful candidate will
- Directly manage and supervise a small number of non-social work staff.
- Manage a caseload of complex and challenging searches for homes for children and oversee the quality assurance of providers contracted by the council.
- Support the Team Manager in maintaining and developing high professional standards across the team.
- Have specialist knowledge of social work practice with children and families that can be used across the brokerage service to support the identification of good homes for children in care.
- To represent the service in developing key service provision or local strategic initiatives with commissioners and care providers.
- Take responsibility for developing skills, expertise and knowledge for a wide range of practice issues and to provide consultation, coaching and mentoring within the team, including effective case management,, analytical assessments and high quality written work.
- Support team development and recruitment process.
