About the role
This role is a new role in the Strategic Housing Partnerships team, offering a strong focus on contract management and on delivering for Brent's residents. This role is for people who care about public service and want their work to matter; it will offer the chance to make a meaningful difference.
In this role, you will:
- provide key contract management support on a key strategic housing contract for the Council
- have the opportunity to ensure that standards are being met
- be given autonomy within a supportive team environment
- work to improve key supplier relationships
About you
We are looking for someone who will:
- be able to clearly demonstrate their ability to manage one of the Council’s strategic contracts
- be tenacious in scrutinising the detail of what are complex sets of data and information, and be confident in promoting better ways of working
- build strong partnership-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide sound recommendations and influence senior leaders, elected members as well as support residents
- work positively and flexibly in what can be a high pressure environment
