The Post
As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe, secure, and nurturing home for young people. You will provide direct care to children and support their individual needs in line with their care plans and home ethos. You will promote a caring environment where respect, dignity, privacy, independence, and choice are at the forefront of service delivery.
Requirements
- A NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or be willing to work towards it
- A Full UK Driving Licence is desirable for this role.
The Person
We are looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about working with young people and understands the challenges they may face.
- A strong communicator, able to build rapport and trust with young people and colleagues.
- Experienced in working with children or young people in a care setting (desirable but not essential).
- Flexible and committed to supporting young people through evening, weekend, waking night and sleep-in shifts.
- Curious, courageous, and kind in your approach to working with children, their families, carers, and colleagues.
