Salary range: £40,182 - £42,060 p.a. inc. London weighting

Contract: 2x Permanent, 2x Fixed term (12 months)

Hours of work: 36 hours per week

Location: Civic centre, New Horizon Centre and other locations from time to time

We're looking for passionate, resilient individuals to join our specialist service, helping families and pregnant people facing homelessness.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the circumstances and needs of households facing homelessness
  • Identify practical and sustainable housing solutions
  • Work collaboratively with partners to prevent and relieve homelessness

You will be based at our office in Wembley on a rota basis, with the flexibility to work from home on some days. This is a front-line role where you will be expected to work from our office in Wembley depending on the rota. You will also be able to work from home on some days in the week.

Knowledge and experience of working in the homelessness sector is not essential as full training will be provided. This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in the sector.

You must have an understanding of homelessness legislation, and an ability to learn legislation quickly with training, coupled with a strong interest in homelessness and a desire to work with and help people. A people focused person, you will be passionate about good customer service and take pride in delivering an excellent service. You need to be able to work proactively, be highly motivated, ambitious, and ready for a new challenge.
