An opportunity to drive improvements to our housing management service.
The Council is setting up a new Housing Management Advisory Board to act as a critical friend to our landlord services, driving forward the delivery of a recently developed improvement plan and providing feedback on policy and strategy documents as they are reviewed.
As an Independent Board Member you will work alongside your fellow Board Members made up of Councillors, staff and Brent Council tenants to provide advice and challenge to the service on how we are meeting the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing, and ultimately delivering the best possible services to our tenants.
We're looking for someone with an interest in the social housing sector and an understanding of the recent changes to the regulatory framework we operate in. You'll have excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive challenge whilst maintaining positive working relationships.
You will need to be able to attend a minimum of 6 meetings per year.
