Passenger Transport Services are seeking dedicated Passenger Transport Drivers to safely transport children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and vulnerable adults to and from schools and day centres. This rewarding role plays a vital part in ensuring some of our most vulnerable residents travel safely, comfortably and on time.

Working as part of a professional transport team, you will be responsible for operating council vehicles safely, carrying out daily vehicle checks, assisting passengers when required, and maintaining excellent relationships with parents, carers, schools and service users.

About the Role

  • Term‑time only contract; salary per annum, pro rata.
  • Minimum 25 hours per week.
  • Split‑shift working Monday to Friday.
  • Annual leave taken during school holiday periods.
  • Full mandatory training provided: emergency evacuation, securing passengers and wheelchair, manual handling, epilepsy awareness, first aid and safeguarding.
