As a Pest Control Technician, you will undertake pest inspections, investigations and treatments across a range of residential and commercial settings.
You will be responsible for identifying infestations, recommending and implementing effective treatment programmes, providing practical advice to customers and ensuring all work is delivered safely, professionally and in accordance with industry standards and best practice.
We're looking for a professional, adaptable and customer-focused individual who is committed to delivering excellent pest management services.
You will have:
- Accredited Level 2 Diploma / Certificate in Pest Management or equivalent e.g. through the Royal Society for Public Health or BPCA.
- Practical experience in the identification and control of common pests, particularly rodents and crawling or flying insects.
- Good knowledge of integrated pest management principles and safe pesticide use.
- A sound understanding of health and safety requirements associated with pest control work.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to investigate problems, assess risks and determine appropriate control measures.
- Good IT and administrative skills, including the ability to maintain accurate electronic records.
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and meet service standards.
- A professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers and members of the public.
- A full UK driving licence.
