This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join Barnet Education and Learning Service (BELS) and will be based within the Business Support and Communications Team. The Executive Support and SEND Coordinator will provide professional, executive level administrative, organisational and coordination support directly to the Director of SEND. Acting as the Director’s primary point of contact, the postholder will independently manage a complex diary, triage and structure high volume inbox. Prepare high-quality documentation and strategic briefings, coordinate project-related tasks, and ensure that strategic and operational priorities progress effectively. This requires proactive planning, advanced judgement, anticipation of need, and the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously. The postholder will play a pivotal role in strengthening operational efficiency with the ongoing changes to SEND and with the White Paper outlining significant reforms to improving support for children and young people with SEND.
