Northgate School is a local authority‑maintained pupil referral unit in Edgware, Barnet, supporting young people aged 13 to 19 with mental health challenges who are unable to access mainstream education. Based at Edgware Community Hospital, we also provide the educational service to the Beacon Centre, a Tier 4 adolescent CAMHS inpatient and day unit. Every young person follows a personalised curriculum designed around their needs, helping them engage with learning and, wherever possible, return successfully to mainstream school or to move on to their next educational setting.
