We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and well-motivated Education Welfare & Attendance Officer to join our school. Cromer Road Primary is a two form entry school, committed to inclusion and providing a varied and creative curriculum for children aged 4 -11 years. The role is within the inclusion team and the primary purpose of the role is to maintain the welfare of our children and excellent attendance and punctuality throughout the school.
Applicants must have experience of and be committed to:
- Ensuring the welfare and well being of our pupils is always paramount
- Promoting and maintaining excellent school attendance and punctuality and using management information systems
- Multi-disciplinary working
- Safeguarding procedures and practices including child protection work
- Working with families to support vulnerable children
You will:
- Have strong communication skills
- Be able to use your initiative
- Have excellent organisation skills
- Value all children equally and share our inclusive ethos
- Have Maths and English GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent)
