Borough Kitchen is looking for a creative, organised and commercially aware Social Media and Content Coordinator to support the growth of Borough Kitchen’s social media channels, primarily across Instagram, while also supporting paid social creative and helping expand the brand’s presence across additional platforms over time. Working closely with the Marketing Manager and Creative Lead, this role will help bring Borough Kitchen’s campaigns, products, Cook School, stores and partnerships to life through engaging content across social media, paid advertising, website and other digital channels. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for aesthetics, understands storytelling and content trends, and is excited by the opportunity to help grow a premium lifestyle and cooking brand. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys both creative content creation and the day‑to‑day management of social channels, while also supporting the wider marketing team with content creation and campaign amplification across the business.

About the role

  • Content Creation & Campaign Support
    • Support the planning and execution of Borough Kitchen’s content across social media, paid advertising, website and other digital channels.
    • Create, film, edit and adapt engaging social‑first and digital content including short‑form video, product storytelling and campaign support assets.
    • Support photography, styling and content capture across social media, paid advertising, website content, events, launches, Cook School activity and larger‑scale campaign shoots.
    • Create and support content for Instagram Stories and other short‑form/social‑first formats.
    • Support campaign amplification across launches, partnerships, retail moments and seasonal activity.
    • Assist in the creation, adaptation and delivery of creative assets for paid social advertising campaigns and performance testing.
    • Work closely with the Creative Lead to ensure all content aligns with Borough Kitchen’s visual identity, creative standards and brand tone of voice.
    • Help maintain a strong and consistent visual identity across all channels.
  • Social Media & Community Management
    • Support the day‑to‑day management of Borough Kitchen’s social media channels, primarily Instagram.
    • Schedule content in line with the wider marketing calendar and campaign priorities.
    • Engage with the Borough Kitchen community through comments, messages and customer interaction.
    • Monitor social trends, platform updates and competitor activity, identifying relevant opportunities and insights for the brand.
    • Support social reporting and performance analysis, using learnings to help inform future content and creative development.
  • Collaboration & Marketing Support
    • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to support campaign planning, launches and wider business priorities.
    • Collaborate with the wider marketing, eCommerce and creative teams to support content needs across the business.
    • Work closely with the Marketing Manager, Creative Lead and digital agency to support paid social content requirements across Meta and other digital platforms.
    • Support the organisation, management and repurposing of content assets across multiple campaigns and channels.

Requirements:

  • 1‑3 years of experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram and short‑form video content, with interest in platforms including TikTok and YouTube Shorts.
  • Comfortable filming and editing content for social and digital channels.
  • Strong eye for aesthetics, storytelling and premium brand presentation.
  • Organised, proactive and highly detail‑oriented.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interested in food, cooking, lifestyle or hospitality brands.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys working across creative and commercial projects.
  • Excited by content, storytelling and building engaging digital brand experiences.

Desirable:

  • Experience creating content for paid social advertising.
  • Basic photography and styling experience.
  • Experience using social scheduling and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar editing tools.
