We are seeking a motivated and organised HR Coordinator to join our team and support the day-to-day running of HR across the business. Working closely with the HR Director and wider management team, this is a varied, hands-on role covering recruitment, HR administration, payroll coordination, employee relations support, and wider people processes across our stores, cook school and support teams.

We are looking for someone who is approachable, organised, proactive, and enjoys working with people. This role would suit an experienced HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or HR Officer looking to broaden their generalist HR experience within a growing business. An interest in cooking and entertaining would be a real advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Provide support to managers on employee relations matters, performance management, absence management, and conflict resolution (with support from an external legal advisor where required).
  • Support team initiatives and company events that contribute to a positive working environment.
  • Coordinate training and development activities to support employee growth.
  • Process monthly payroll in collaboration with our external payroll provider.
  • Assist with the administration of employee benefits and compensation processes.
  • Help ensure our HR processes and practices remain up to date and compliant.
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Coordinate new starter inductions and annual performance reviews.
  • Assist with maintaining HR policies and procedures in line with company objectives.
  • Support the annual salary review process alongside the HR Director and Co-Founders.
  • Organise company events, including Summer and Winter parties.
  • Provide general HR administrative support and assist with ad hoc HR projects.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within HR or a similar people-focused role.
  • Previous experience within retail or hospitality is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • CIPD qualification is preferred.
