In this varied and rewarding role, you will play a key part in the daily operation of our centres, helping us provide safe, clean and welcoming environments for all visitors. Your main duties will include lifeguarding, supporting day‑to‑day operations in all areas of the business, assisting at reception, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring every visitor has a great experience. You will also help deliver high‑quality swimming lessons to all ages and abilities – from beginners to advanced swimmers. Full training will be provided for this.

Qualifications

  • Strong swimmer, enthusiastic, customer‑focused, and passionate about helping people enjoy active, healthy lifestyles.
  • Holds—or is willing to obtain—National Pool Lifeguard and Swimming Teacher qualifications.
  • Pass a swim test before interview.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in dealing with the public.
  • Ability to remain focused under pressure with a commitment to excellent customer care.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team.

Employment Details

  • Starting salary between £24,414 and £28,152 per annum.
  • All roles work on a shift rota including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Based at Alive Oasis, Hunstanton – 1 post.
  • Based at Alive St James King\’s Lynn – 2 posts.
  • All appointments subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure, through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
