Initial Salary between £38268 and £46269 per annum. Permanent, full time (37 hours per week) Based at King’s Court Council Offices.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Benefits Manager to lead our dedicated team and ensure Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims are assessed accurately and fairly. You will manage overpayment recovery, oversee discretionary funds, and work closely with our Revenues and Benefits Manager to shape policy and strategy for the future.
As the Council’s expert on Housing Benefit Subsidy and Supported/Exempt Accommodation claims, you will support specialist officers and represent us at appeal hearings. If you have detailed knowledge of benefit regulations, at least three years’ senior-level experience, and the confidence to lead through change, this is your opportunity to make a real impact.
