Recreation Assistants – Starting salary between £24,414 and £28,152 per annum. All roles work on a shift rota including weekends and bank holidays. Based at Alive Oasis, Hunstanton – 1 post; Based at Alive St James King’s Lynn – 2 posts.
Responsibilities
- Help operate our centres to provide safe, clean and welcoming environments for all visitors
- Lifeguarding and supporting day-to-day operations in all areas of the business
- Assist at reception and maintain cleanliness
- Ensure every visitor has a great experience
- Help deliver high-quality swimming lessons to all ages and abilities – from beginners to advanced swimmers (full training provided)
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ideally hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and Swimming Teacher Qualification or be willing to gain them
- Pass a swim test before interview
- Strong communication skills, confidence in dealing with the public, ability to remain focused under pressure with commitment to excellent customer care and teamwork
