Casual Activity Leaders £12.65 per hour for over 16’s (£10 per hour for under 16’s). Casual as and when needed including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Based within Kings Lynn, Downham or Hunstanton areas.
We are looking for enthusiastic Activity Leaders to work across west Norfolk to support the delivery of birthday parties, drop-in sessions, holiday clubs and a wide range of recreational activities across our centres. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in creating enjoyable experiences for participants of all ages, ensuring their safety, wellbeing and enjoyment throughout every session.
You will supervise groups, deliver high-quality instruction, and contribute to activity sessions that encourage confidence, physical activity and positive engagement. You will support the smooth running of sessions by completing basic administration such as registers, safety checks and session plans, always following safeguarding, health and safety and data-protection procedures.
You will also work with coaches, colleagues, partner organisations and customers, helping to foster a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork, participation and enjoyment.
We are looking for friendly, approachable individuals who enjoy working with children, can communicate confidently, and thrive in a busy, varied environment. Experience of working with children and within a sport or leisure setting is essential, along with an understanding of safeguarding and health and safety. Coaching or instructing skills are highly desirable, and flexibility is important, as the role involves working evenings, weekends and during school holiday periods.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure, through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
