As a Care Home Cook, you'll play a vital stand-alone role in our care home - not just preparing meals but creating a warm and enjoyable dining experience for our residents. You will prepare and serve meals to meet our residents' specific needs and deliver a high quality service. Our main and light meals are supplied as frozen ready prepared meals which require reheating, garnishing and presenting well. You will also provide light breakfasts, freshly made soups and sandwiches and will have the opportunity to use your creativity when catering for our events and residents' birthdays. You will also maintain stock control and support our carers at meal-times by assisting residents who cannot eat independently.
