Due to increased workload, a regional contractor has created a new role for a Contracts Manager in their East London office.
The company has been established for over 15 years, focusing mainly on refurbishment schemes within the leisure, residential, and commercial sectors. Projects typically valued between £500,000 and £5 million are located in East London, Essex, and surrounding areas.
Reporting to a Construction Director who provides mentorship, you will be responsible for up to six sites. Your duties will include:
- Liaising with site teams
- Compiling reports
- Monitoring health and safety aspects of each project
- Coordinating with the client\’s project team
- Ensuring quality control
- Generating and updating construction phase plans
- Procurement of materials
- Conducting pre-start meetings
- Leading regular site progress meetings and handovers
