We are recruiting for two Site Managers to deliver railway arch refurbishment projects just south of the Thames. Typically, you will be managing around six key trades across £750k schemes, transforming tired railway arches into modern commercial units for food and beverage operators.
Works include:
- Groundworks
- Steelwork
- Curtain walling
- Arch lining
- M&E
- Glazing
- Frontage upgrades
Working beneath live railway infrastructure means planning, organisation and health & safety are taken seriously. The business also operates on major framework contracts, including Thames Water, so this role would suit someone who understands compliance, process and delivering projects properly.
The Role:
- Managing day-to-day site operations
- Supervising subcontractors, quality and H&S
- Producing 2-week look-ahead programmes
- Coordinating deliveries and site logistics
- Opening, securing and running site
- Delivering works in accordance with programme and drawings
Requirements:
- Previous Site Manager experience on refurbishment, infrastructure or framework projects
- SMSTS, First Aid & CSCS
- Good programme management skills
- Strong communication and subcontractor management
- IT literate
