Site Manager (No.1) – Freelance – Newcastle (Temporary)
Duration: 20 weeks, start 3rd or 10th August.
We’re looking for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to take full responsibility for a £3m project at a live manufacturing facility in Newcastle.
The role involves managing the site from start to finish, coordinating subcontractors, driving the programme, and ensuring work is delivered safely and to a high standard.
- Scope of Works
- Concrete mezzanine
- Mini piling
- Internal fit‑out
- Live manufacturing environment (although not the area they are working in)
- Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a No.1 Site Manager on projects in the £2m‑£5m range.
- Background with a main contractor.
- Experience delivering industrial, manufacturing, commercial or refurbishment projects.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
- Strong organisational and subcontractor management skills.
- Previous experience working within a live manufacturing or operational environment would be an advantage, although it’s not essential.
