Site Administrator / Document Controller Marylebone 08:00 – 17:00 Temp Start: Immediately. Or sooner There\’s a £15 million high-end residential project underway in Marylebone. It\’s a house so fancy it probably has a panic room just for the wine. Naturally, it\’s being built by a team of skilled tradespeople who are amazing at their jobs – except when it comes to paperwork, calendars, file naming conventions, or locating the thing you literally just sent them. This is where you come in. Site Administrator / Document Controller Without you, the project descends into chaos faster than a sparky at 4:59 on a Friday. You won\’t get a cape. But you will get the unspoken admiration of the site manager who now doesn\’t have to explain what a PDF is for the sixth time this week. What You\’ll Actually Be Doing (Besides Everything): ·Organising meetings no one reads the invite for. ·Taking meeting minutes while trying not to write down \”everyone argued, nothing decided.\” ·Compiling reports that look slick enough to distract from the fact half the info came in five minutes before the deadline. ·Updating drawing trackers while wondering if anyone on site actually knows what a revision cloud is. ·Logging RFIs and following up like a polite but relentless admin bounty hunter. ·Making sure QA records are up to date, even if the site team uploads photos taken on a potato from 2008. ·Uploading drawings and documents to Procore-then showing people where they are, repeatedly, until retirement. ·Keeping things organised while the rest of the office treats the desk like a bin with wi-fi. What You\’ll Need: ·Experience on construction sites. Ideally without developing a twitch. ·Procore fluency-or at least the ability to pretend it\’s not actively gaslighting you. ·Word, Excel, PowerPoint competence (not just I made a table once in 2012). ·The ability to work independently. Because you will be left alone. A lot. Why You? Because you understand that without admin, construction is just a group of adults in hi-vis shouting across scaffolding. You\’ve got a knack for order, an eye for detail, and the kind of mental strength that comes from being the only one who knows where the files are and what the last version was called.
