Job summary: Senior Site Manager for High-End | Super Prime Residential & Education Projects in North Oxfordshire. Start date: April 2024.
This 50-year-old contractor holds a top tier status in the Cotswolds & West Midlands region for quality commercial / education and prime residential builds. This is a family business with no debt that will be expanding over the next five years, from a current £10m turnover to circa £30m, making it a good time to join. The company has strong financial backing, a solid client base, a vast amount of work, and long-term sustainable growth plans.
There is an immediate requirement for a Senior Site Manager who will have the responsibility of leading on a mixture of new build and refurbishment projects in the Cotswolds and surrounding areas.
Experience required:
- Main contracting background, with experience managing prime residential, commercial or public sector works between £1m - £5m.
- Essential: 2-5 years' experience project managing for an SME Contractor.
- From a technical rather than trades background.
Current industry knowledge of:
- Build solutions
- Legislative practice (technical & H&S)
- Industry trends/best practice
Knowledge required:
- Sound knowledge of traditional forms of building contract together with Design and Build options.
- Well-read in current Construction industry thinking and trends.
- Understanding of both High-End Residential and Commercial Sectors together with the demand of its clients.
