The Company
The company is a medium sized Main Contractor that takes on projects of the industrial nature, from new build steel frame warehouses to storage units. This company has doubled in size in the last 12 months due to successful tendering and already has a very healthy pipeline of work for 2026.
The Opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager who has a proven record of accomplishment completing new build warehouses and refurbishment of storage units from start to completion. From £5m - £20m value size, the right candidate will be hands-on, eyes and ears on site as well as making sure the programme is being met on time.
The project includes delivering a new build Industrial Storage worth £8m over a 14 month contract. The candidate must prove they have run new build industrial sheds out of the ground to completion. Strong experience with Steel Frame / Cladding & Multi Unit New Build Industrial Sheds, working for a Main Contractor is required.
Skills / Experience required:
- Reporting directly to Contracts Manager, the Site Manager will have complete autonomy for all on-site activities.
- High level of practical knowledge of relevant employment, Health and Safety and general legislative requirements.
- Excellent leader with strong communication skills.
- Responsible for overall management of the programme.
- Adheres to the highest standards of health and safety.
- Planning and organisational skills.
- Proven longevity with previous employers.
- Proven track record of managing projects from start to completion.
- Overseeing management of on-site sub-contractors.
Must have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.
