MEP Manager – Fit Out of Grade 2 Listed Building
- Start 5 – 12 January 2025
- Contract: 1 year +
Fit out of Grade 2 listed building back of house, café / bar, kitchen & WC. Project Value: £11m.
MEP Management responsibilities:
- Weekly subcontractors progress meeting to discuss project progress and milestones, current and potential delays. Creating an action plan along to address delays
- Delivering monthly and 2-week look ahead programme to subcontractors, regularly reviewing their progress against the programme.
- Liaising with the design team to resolve design issues and clashes, ensuring that revised or as built drawing are released based on new information and issued to respective subcontractors.
- Regular snagging and QA of subcontractors works ensuring that are built as specified in the drawings and workmanship conform to building regulations and standards.
- Implementing and upholding high standards of Health and Safety ensuring all supply chain adhere to H&S standards and site rules
- Sub-contractors RAMS review and approval prior to works commencing on site
- Issuing RFIs, CVIs, technical submittals and updating register
- Managing requisition of materials and delivery on site.
- Liaising with the QS in respect to monthly valuations, NCRs and EAIs
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum of 10 years’ MEP / Building Services expertise with a principal contractor.
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Qualification
- Proven interiors experience within CAT A/ B Fit out , Heritage, Super Prime Residential or Hotels
- Energetic and enjoys the challenge of successfully delivering a quality fit out.
- Attention to detail, quality focused, organised
- SMSTS / 1st Aid / CSCS – Black
