An established and highly respected London contractor is seeking an experienced Mechanical Estimator, working closely with operational teams, suppliers and subcontractors throughout the tender process.
Key responsibilities include:
- Producing detailed estimates and tender submissions
- Carrying out take-offs from drawings and specifications
- Producing first principles estimates
- Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Supporting value engineering exercises
- Working closely with building estimators on integrated bids
- Attending site visits and surveys where required
About You
- Minimum 5 years experience as an M
- Experience delivering commercial refurbishment or fit-out projects
- Strong first principles estimating experience
- Knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts
