Project Manager (Mechanical & Electrical) - Future Head of Projects East London (base – 10 mins from Central line station) – work across London and surrounding areas.

Fantastic earning potential. Most successful M&E Project Managers get rewarded in exactly the same way. Deliver a difficult project, keep the client happy, make money, and get given another project.

This opportunity is different. An established engineering-led contractor (£14m+ turnover) is looking for someone to build and eventually lead their own business unit within the wider company. You'll inherit a number of existing clients, live projects, and opportunities to get you started. But this isn't about maintaining a portfolio - it's about growing one.

The long-term vision is for this person to develop a profitable business unit, build client relationships, generate opportunities, and eventually recruit and lead Project Managers within their own team.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Started life as an engineer before moving into management
  • Understands both project delivery and commercial performance
  • Has experience with end users, FM providers or multi-site portfolios
  • Can build relationships as comfortably as they manage programmes
  • Has a network they can leverage
  • Wants more influence than their current organisation can offer

This isn't a sales role - it isn't a delivery role. It's somewhere in the middle. Think business builder.

You'll have the backing of an established company, existing work, marketing support, operational infrastructure, and leadership support. In other words, all the things most people realise they needed shortly after starting their own business.

Ideal for a Senior PM, Senior Contracts Manager or Operations Manager who believes they're capable of more than simply delivering the next project. Salary is negotiable (thinking around the mid-nineties) + bonus (meaningful, built in and very much NOT discretionary).

The opportunity is genuine. We're looking for someone who can build relationships, build revenue, and build a team.

We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all backgrounds.
