I'm working with an established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to commercially lead an £8m super-prime refurbishment in Mayfair. The project is approaching the end of its PCSA period, with the successful QS initially working from the office before becoming predominantly site-based from mid-October. This is a strong opportunity for a hands-on surveyor to operate as the sole commercial lead, taking end-to-end responsibility for the scheme while reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.
The Role
- Sole commercial responsibility for an £8m super-prime refurbishment
- Supporting the project through the end of PCSA and into construction
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- CVRs, cashflow, forecasting and commercial reporting
- Valuations, variations and change control
- Managing subcontractor payments and accounts
- Identifying and managing contractual and commercial risk
- Driving the project commercially through to final account
- Working closely with the site team and reporting to the Commercial Manager
