I am working with an established main contractor who are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to take commercial responsibility for a new build residential development in Eastry, Kent. This is a site-based position taking ownership of a live £20m scheme, working closely with the operational team through delivery and ultimately final account.
The Project:
- £20m new build residential development
- 94 new homes
- Eastry, Kent
- Approximately 80-week programme
- Site-based position
The Role:
- Commercial management of the project from procurement through to final account
- Procurement and management of subcontract packages
- CVRs, valuations, variations and cost reporting
- Managing subcontractor payments and accounts
- Working closely with the Project Manager and site team
- Reporting into senior commercial management
