Maintenance Property Manager aka Aftercare Manager (Super-Prime Residential) Kensington / Hybrid

When most people hear "property maintenance", they picture Dave arriving in a Transit to fix a dripping tap. This isn’t that. The sort of homes you’ll be looking after have wine cellars worth more than most people’s houses. I’m working with a specialist business operating within London’s super-prime residential market. They manage and maintain some of the most exceptional private homes in the country, acting as a trusted partner to UHNW individuals, family offices and estate managers.

They’re looking for someone who can sit comfortably between client, consultant, contractor and specialist trades. Someone commercially aware. Someone organised. Someone who understands that when a client spends eight figures on a property, "that’ll do" generally isn’t part of the conversation.

The role includes:

  • Managing the transition from major refurbishment projects into long-term maintenance and aftercare
  • Pricing and managing planned maintenance programmes
  • Coordinating larger works including kitchens, bathrooms, MEP upgrades and specialist repairs
  • Managing contractors, consultants and specialist suppliers
  • Building relationships with clients, property managers and family offices
  • Helping improve and modernise maintenance systems and processes

This isn’t a role for someone who likes hiding behind email chains. You’ll be trusted to make decisions, build relationships and represent the business with some very discerning clients.

You’ll probably have:

  • Strong property, maintenance or project management experience (in the super-prime residential or hotels sectors)
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Experience managing contractors and consultants
  • An eye for detail bordering on the mildly obsessive

If you’ve ever looked around a £25m house and immediately started spotting the maintenance issues rather than admiring the artwork, this could be worth a conversation.
