One of London's leading independent main contractors is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-value refurbishment, extension and fit-out projects across the West End and City. These include upcoming office redevelopments in Mayfair and Fitzrovia (c.£2,530m), prime residential extensions in Belgravia (c.£40m), and detailed retail/leisure upgrades across Marylebone and Covent Garden.
Based in their central London office, you will manage procurement, commercial reporting and contractual control on technically challenging schemes involving structural alterations, MEP-heavy upgrades and heritage-sensitive environments.
The Role
- Lead procurement and package negotiation across structural, architectural and MEP trades
- Prepare tender enquiries, analyse returns, support bid/proposal preparation, and place robust subcontract orders
- Administer subcontract accounts including variations, valuations and final accounts
- Produce accurate CVRs, forecasts and commercial reports for senior management
- Ensure strong contractual governance under JCT (D&B and traditional)
- Support design coordination and change control across complex central London schemes
- Maintain clear commercial records and draft precise contractual correspondence
